Where the thought of Geno in Brawl came from i will never know. I thought Geno in Brawl was absolutely stupid. Its been about 10 years since he has been in Super Mario RPG.

you have a good point there, UMSAuthorLava. As much as I actually like Pit and have been excited about his return- Geno isn't nearly as much of a forgotten character. Geno's apearance in Mario & Luigi SuperStar Saga was very recent. Whether or not it was just a cameo, it's more than Pit had before the Smash Bros series.. speaking of periods of absence (which is a poor argument), should i mention Game & Watch?

All i'm saying is that these are all great characters, but no period of time should limit their return. especially in a game like this that is based on fantasy reunions and epic fights of that would only otherwise exist in fanfictions.

The only thing left to argue about is taste; and it's only natural for people to have different preferences or attachments towards these characters. I love the current roster. But i do miss Geno.

UMSAuthorLava, i might as well say it before someone tries to fry you for it. Pit was also in an original gameboy game too. but that's still longer in any case than we've seen Geno. With or without SuperStar Saga.

Man, I've never been this hoping for a sequel for a game that hasn't come to America yet, but now I'm psyched to want a fourth Smash Bros.

totally. i don't think the smash series is going anywhere soon. that's for sure!

I'm pretty excited too.

The hope is the last thing we lost, so I really hope Geno can make an appearance on the next SB game(C'mon.......ROB? WTF? he doesn't deserve to be even a character.....what a waste of newcomer spot... ).
Talking about this piece, his body looks like a variation of Rockman Dash, it's very well designed. Personally I would like a Geno with bigger head and bigger cape, but it's a very good work anyway.

Theres a rumor that there will be a channel for Smash on the Wii for downloading new characters/stages/etc. It came from a japanese mag.

IT'S ONLY A RUMOR. DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP.

Also, Geno imo will have a very great shot coming to the next game. Second highest wanted character is something Sakurai won't leave in a drawer.

yup, rockman dash/megaman legends is the variation of the blue bomber i went with. i must say i was pleased to see that rob was in the game in an early subspace emissary video. you know, the part when two rob's start the bomb. i thought that was tight and a cool nod at Nintendo's past. when i found out later he was a playable character i thought it was unnecessary. especially when you have characters like geno or pleanty of Nintendo characters at their disposal.

I know we could definately look forward to Geno in the next instalment. it's just too bad we have to wait

that's a cool rumor. do you know what magazine that was in? i watched wii,ign,com's latest VideoMailbag and they got a letter asking if Nintendo would be able to suppord downloadable content for brawl. ign pretty much said the hardware currently is uncapable of it becase of it's simple flash hard-drive. i can't pretend i know how a system works so they could be right for all i know. check out the vid sometime. haha, i like your signiture about wolf and geno. i wouldn't doubt if there's truth to that either. i mean common, sakuri said he didn't want any "clones" in the game (such as dr. mario). but you have three fox characters with mirrored moves and the SAME final smash. don't get me wrong though, i like starfox and the more the merrier. But they couldv'e all played differently.

That clone thing struck me so odd. I knew he would eventually be lazy and stick to clone moves. You see Ganon weilding his SWORD when he does one of his taunts. Comon. Use that damn thing once and a while, What is it, a COLLECTORS item?

Wolf is Bull crap because of his psuedo clone moves. I expected Krystal with her lance but nope. Laziness. She makes a cameo in dialog box in one of the Star Fox Stages (With Leon ^^). Even though Wolf I heard was awesome, and I wanted him sort of. Cl0one moves are no no.

The rumor I saw o a couple of forums. I'll try to investigate it but somehow even with the Wii as a simple hard drive, Im sure Nintendo would cook something.
